INTRO to FLAMENCO
A comprehensive introduction to the art form focusing on rhythm, movement, and song. Intro students will be introduced to structure through a study in Tangos (fiesta style). Please come to class with character shoes or hard-soled shoes (closed toe) and a skirt for the ladies.

TECHNIQUE & BAILE I
This is an ongoing class focusing on the true artistic attributes of flamenco dance. Students will learn technique for posture, brazeo, footwork, turns, and general movement in the flamenco aesthetic as well as a dance in tangos and/or bulerias. This class is recommended for those who have taken Intro for at least two sessions.

This is an ongoing class focusing on the true artistic attributes of flamenco dance. Students will learn technique for posture, brazeo, footwork, turns, and general movement in the flamenco aesthetic. This class is for students who have studied at Level I for at least one year.

Beginning FOOTWORK
This is a fun rhythmic class designed for the Intro student! Designed to build proficiency in basic footwork articulations, this class begins with a warm-up and work out of basic flamenco footwork patterns and exercises that all flamenco dancers should know

Conditioning & Intermediate/Advanced FOOTWORK
This class begins with a workout designed to give the student the flexibility and strength needed to practice good technique. It will focus on core strength, inner thigh strength, will strengthen the back, and add flexibility of the upper body. Please come to class with comfortable clothes and a yoga mat or towel. The footwork portion of this class is a study in rhythm that will give you strength and endurance! A great way to supplement the intermediate students' studies, this class will focus on speed and more advanced footwork patterns.

LETRA STUDY
This class is for all flamenco participants, including singers, dancers, guitarists, percussionists, and those who would simply like to learn more about flamenco verse. The student will learn several letras (verses) from different palos (song styles), and how to use them in a juerga (flamenco party) setting!
