Flamenco del Pueblo Viejo

Watching excellent flamenco dancers and musicians and being exposed to their artistry is just as important in the learning process of flamenco as is working in the studio and taking classes.
Although we have limited opportunities to see flamenco in Tucson, the internet can be an excellent source for studying the art form.  Like speaking a new language, the more you are exposed to it, the more you immerse yourself in it everyday, the more you can understand and communicate through it.  Though videos of flamenco performances can hardly replace seeing good live flamenco, FDPV knows that students can benefit from them.
For this reason we have decided to launch a new page here on our website dedicated to focusing on particular videos and photography and discussing those resources to further our study of flamenco.  We will update the selection of video and/or photo regularly and hope that you will watch and fall in love with flamenco the way so many aficionados have!
We also encourage you to take part in the forum below discussing the videos, photos, and flamenco study in general.
If you would like to join the email list of students who will receive emails letting them know when each new video/photo is up, please email us at flamencodpv@gmail.com and write “video study” in the subject line to be added to the list.  We hope that you enjoy our new study page and look forward to chatting with you about this new study resource.
